Nihon on the Net
Nihon on the Net will offer you some a glimpse into what people who live, work and visit Japan have to say about it on the net. It will be a periodic feature at The Tokyo Traveler so check back often.

I had a similar experience using a toilet in India and I had a very similar reaction I might add, lol.

I don’t like mashrooms or mushrooms very much either and the first time I used a toilet in Japan I didn’t have any tissues and none were provided - not fun!
